Josue Torres-Fonseca is a Ph.D. student in Computer Science and Engineering at the University of Michigan. His main research interests revolve around spoken language understanding, cognitive development, and embodied agents. Specifically relating to how an embodied form, such as a robot, can aid in understanding language while learning about the world around them through spoken interaction with others. Prior to joining University of Michigan he received his B.S. in Computer Science from Boise State University.
